Privacy Notice
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use the CHEMREG website and its forms.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data via this website is CHEMREG Germany, Geistenbeckerstraße 21, 41199 Mönchengladbach, Germany (registration number 68 204 157 791; VAT/tax number 133/5152/4371).
Contact for privacy matters: [email protected]. Data Protection Officer: based on the scale of processing described in this notice, CHEMREG does not consider a Data Protection Officer to be required under Art. 37 GDPR / § 38 BDSG.
2. What data we collect and why
We only process the data you actively provide through a form on this site, plus limited technical data needed to operate it securely.

Technical data. Our hosting and anti-spam providers process your IP address and basic request metadata to deliver the site, prevent abuse and rate-limit form submissions. This is necessary for the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
3. Processors and recipients
We use the following service providers to operate the website. Each processes personal data only on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery and the Turnstile anti-spam challenge. Processes IP address and request metadata. Transfers outside the EEA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum.
- Resend, Inc. (transactional email) — delivers form submissions to CHEMREG and any acknowledgement email to you. Processes the contents of the relevant form under Resend's Data Processing Addendum, which incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Customer relationship management — the lead pipeline can optionally mirror enquiries into HubSpot or Pipedrive; no CRM is currently connected.
- Newsletter and Regulatory Watch delivery — subscriptions are recorded and routed through the same lead pipeline described above; there is no separate email-marketing platform in use.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It does not currently use a web analytics service. The Turnstile anti-spam challenge is used in a mode that does not set cookies for tracking purposes.
See the Cookie information page for the current, itemised list. If CHEMREG later introduces analytics or marketing tools, a consent banner will be added and this notice updated before those tools load.
5. Retention
Enquiry and demo-request data is retained for as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact if no ongoing business relationship results. Where a business relationship or contract is established, related records are retained in line with statutory German commercial and tax retention obligations (currently up to 10 years under § 257 HGB / § 147 AO). Newsletter and Regulatory Watch data is retained until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with future effect — for the newsletter and Regulatory Watch, use the unsubscribe link in any message.
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for CHEMREG's place of establishment, the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW).
7. International transfers
Cloudflare and Resend, our hosting and email processors, may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. These transfers are safeguarded by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under each provider's Data Processing Addendum, and, where applicable, additional technical and organisational measures.
8. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our processing changes. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest version.
